Here you find a nice Egyptian Frog oil lamp. This antiquity is mould-made, light brown-beige buff clay, with short rounded nozzle. It is decorated with groves and small circles. Also has a small pierced filling hole encircled by a groove and the underside with a design or makers mark. Dates to the 1st-4th Century A.D and measures 3.6 inches in length.
Very fine terracotta of the child horus. Wearing side-lock, crown of Upper and Lower Egypt. Also on the front of the crown we see a uraeus or cobra with solar disk. Portion of finger on the lips still present. This is one of the finest terracotta heads I have seen. Measure 3 1/4 inches and is intact as shown. Very vivid facial expression and crisp details.
Nubian terracotta statue in the form of Isis and Horus child. Isis is wearing the sun disk enclosed by a pair of cow's horns. The most common divine headdresses are cow horns and solar disks for the leading goddesses of the pantheon, such as Hathor and Isis, emphasizing their maternal role. An ancient Egyptian terracotta figure of a nude male figure, dwarf-like in appearance resting on a long phallus curving upward. Most likely part of a larger statue. Has traces of white pigment. Dates to the Roman period, measures 3 3/4 inches in length.
Here you find a nice votive terracotta of two Hathor cows in the seated position. Both wearing a solar crown. Dates to the Roman period circa 1st century AD. Measures 4 inches in height. Intact!
