Rare red-figured Globular Apulian lidded pyxis, portraying Nike. The double winged Nike is adorned with a radiate stephane and ribboned saccos , white beaded necklace and earrings. The lid is set on a tiered foot and is decorated with an olive branch (symbol of victory) thus the association with the goddess Nike. This vessel has vivid colour, with intact white and yellow pigment surrounding much of the lid. Lovely miniature Apulian Lekythos ca. 350 B.C with ray patterns on the neck, palmette on the side and a red-figured dove on the other. This Lekythos is in an exceptional state of preservation and for its size is well proportioned. Old collectors number on base. Height: 3 inches.

Here you find a sophisticated Apulian Kantharos decorated with a "lady of fashion" on both sides of the cup. Both females are adorned with a radiate stephane, ribbon sakkos, necklace and earrings. This is a very large Nazca bowl which dates to circa 300 A.D. This bowl is decorated in warm and natural colourful hues of orange, red, brown, and cream. The outer panel is decorated with what appears to be flower blossoms which surround the entire bowl. This is an Exquisite Ancient Egyptian Mummy Mask from the Late Period 716-30 B.C.. Measures 22.8cm., 9 inch. in height. It has wonderfully painted black eyes, eyebrows and wig. Much of the deep rich polychrome remains on this mask. There is a small chip on nose, lip and eyebrow as seen in the photo. An extraordinary example of fine Egyptian Art formed in the 17th century by the Charterhouse School in London, England.
