Ancient Roman olive-green coloured free-blown patellae. This ancient vessel has a drawn, low pedestal foot with slight grooves. It also has a very wide and intact tapered rim. The body is flared, bell shaped and very wide. Has a small piece missing and a stable fracture to the body. Measure 4.25 inches wide. Dates to circa 1st-4th Century AD. Provenance: From the collection of Alex G. Malloy, former dealer in antiquities for 40 years. |
