An unusual pair of English lacquered knife boxes with extensive "mother of pearl" inlay depicting Birds of Paradise. They date to the mid 19th Century and are in excellant condition with all of the inlay intact. They have had the original knife slots removed and have been beautifully lined with a muted red velvet. The boxes measure 8.75" wide, 8.75" deep, and 14.5" high each.
A stunning pair of 19th Century patinated bronze figures mounted as lamps. One figure depicting a warrior on horseback above a base in the form of a rockery, while the other depicts a rider playing the lyre. The lamps measure 11" wide, 7" deep, and 29" high. They are fitted with ecru linen shades that measure 16.5" wide, 12" deep, and 11.5" high.
English late 18th to very early 19th Century Georgian mirror in a highly figured mahogany. This mirror is in the classic Chippendale form and is of a rare medium size. The scroll work is all clearly hand cut with minor restorations. The mirror plate is later but still having quite some age on it and is bordered by a subtle satinwood string inlay.

18th to 19th Century English Georgian chest on chest in a highly figured mahogany. The wood tones are a delightful warm brown. The scale and proportions of the piece are perfect. It is in three sections comprised of a slightly flared cornice with a subtle satinwood inlaid detail, an upper section with two over three drawers, and a base with three garduated drawers and resting on splayed French feet. 19th Century Carved Walnut French Barometer in a Pickled Finish. The Barometer Retains its Original 19th Century Foil Paper Dial. The mercury based works were removed and replaced with a 20th Century German "Special Werks" mechanical barometer. Dimensions: 16" w x 40" h
