A hand-carved Bodhi wood statue from Nepal of a Green Tara, an energetic healing female Buddha. She measures about 8 1/2 inches tall x 5 inches across x 3 1/2 inches deep and is carved out of solid wood. She is sitting in a classic pose with her right foot down, and lotus flowers on her shoulders. The carving is particularly difficult with all the open spaces and flowers. It's nicely painted and antiqued, although it is not old.
