French Pottery, Barn Cats, J. Filmore
In the 1880's the original Barn Cats were made with roof tiles attached (to keep birds and rodents off the roof) and could be seen through out the South of France in the farm country.The Parisians had the cats made as objects d'arte after the turn of the century.
