19th c Gilded Bronze Sculpture of a Tantric Goddess. h: 11"X L: 9"X W: 6". 11.5 LBS. Good condition, some wear on the gilding, see photos. This is a beautifully graceful statue that has a sense of both stillness and motion. This dynamism is found in better Himalayan art.

Late 18th C. Mongolian gilded bronze Machig Labdron statue. H 13" x W 9" x L5". 8lbs. Superb metal work; bronze with gilding and painted flaming mandorla (red). Face is done with cold gold and paint. This statue truly has "life" to it and has a beautiful, dynamic quality of movement. Machig Labdron is one of the greatest female saints of Tibetan Buddhism and was responsible for perpetuating the Chod lineage of tantric practice.

18th C. Tibetan Gilt Mandorla. H 14" x L19.5". Weight: 1.2 lbs. Beautiful scrolling repousse bronze with Garuda in the center top, surrounded by asparas, makaras and lamas. Outer ring contains images of lamas, protectors and flowers. Slight damage at top, left of center and bottom two corners missing. Please see photos.
