This is a spectacular Copeland Spode 13-piece ice cream set, bearing the Spode green mark circa 1883-1891, impressed date mark for 1885, and pattern number 3917, an overall blue and white chinz-like pattern. This is very fine small English demitasse cup made by Hammersley and Co. especially for Ovington's, New York, c 1887-1912, having slightly flared scalloped rim cup and foot, ornate scrolled gilt handle, gold wash inside, cobalt with turquoise jeweling on delicate gilt floral pattern; measures 2 1/2 in H, Excellent condition.

This is an elegant set of 12 antique Victorian porcelain plates, ca. 1880, handpainted in an intricate scrolling foliate pattern in rich gold gilt; all plates have an underglaze mark of an eagle over a crown in red; also marked "handpainted" and "Austria." This is a fine Georgian period English tea cup and saucer dish, one of a pair, unmarked, but probably Hilditch ca. 1825. The pedestal cup, with London bone china style handle, is decorated with a simple scrolling border and stylized leaves in shades of aqua and puce; the matching saucer is deeply dished, which is typical of the period.
