This is a handsome 19th century
Cromwellian-style armchair with wonderful leather embossment and hand carved figural arm supports, the rectangular green leather padded back with embossed country theme of floral and fauna, a similar embossed padded seat with a center griffin, one of the barley twist arm supports having a carved bearded male bust, the other with a female bust, the legs are joined by barley-twist turned stretchers, all original, this chair has excellent color and patina. This is a classical pair of sterling candlesticks, ca. 1930, with the mark of Redlich & Co., a New York silversmith in business from 1890 to 1946, the company later became part of Elgin. Also marked "cementfilled," "reinforced with rod" and "2071." Condition: one stick has some minor dents at the top of the base. Measurement: 8." h

This is a magnificent pair of Sevres soup bowls, bearing both the date mark for 1771 and a raised gilt crown on the reverse; with shaped gilt rims and decorated with central heraldic crest of fleur de lis, scepters, and crowns surrounded by lush raised gilt foliate swags on a sapphire ground with royal blue accents; excellent condition; 10 1’4" diam.
