This is an unusual Vienna ruby-ground tea canister, late 19th /early 20th century, signed "Kruzka", bearing the blue beehive marked and inscribed "Sapho"; hand painted with a rectangular cartouche of the goddess Sappho in an elaborately chased gilt surround with similarly decorated rectangular cartouche of putti; also decorated with chased gilt medallions of birds and foliate scroll. Condition: slight gilt wear, Measurements: 6 in. H

This is a beautiful pair of Vienna cabinet plates,19th Century, each having a border with maroon colored panels painted in cream and gilt foliate with a center figure, one entitled "Aphrdithe die Schafe, Des Paris Nelident?", the other "Sartiere" with impressed mark 247, S, overglazed blue shield mark in near excellent condition, minor scratch to one, miniscule flake to the other Measurements: 8 1/4 in. diameter
