A spectacular pair of Georgian natural seed pearl chandelier earrings, boxed, made in England, mid 19th C, Pendeloque style having tiny seed pearls threaded with gut onto mother of pearl backs, set on marked 18K white gold screw backs. The upper and lower parts of the earrings comprise tiny pearls threaded in circular rows with a central larger pearl. The box marked G. Altman & Co. Fifth Avenue New York. Measurement: 2 1/2" long from the top of ear loop by 3/4" wide at widest point. Very good condition considering the delicate nature of this item having minor damage and small repair, several tiny pearls missing on one of the scallop edges. These are beautiful earrings and personify the quality workmanship of the period.
