SOLD

A very large old brass bell with rough carved, worn handle- like a town crier type bell. This bell is 10-5/8" tall x 6" dia. and all parts seem to be hand-made, weighs about 5 pounds. I have not polished or done anything to it, since purchasing it from a relative's collection, so condition is rather primitive style but very good for it's age, c. late 1800's to early 1900's. There don't seem to be any maker's marks on it.

A large Legras art glass vase with cherry motif c. early 1900's, measuring about 18" tall. Legras was a Belgian (some claim France) on a contemporary with Galle.) This piece is very nice but does have a small manufacturing defect in the glass which was a glass bubble which has burst inside the mouth of the vase quite far down, of approx. 1/4" in length. A truly lovely piece it has no other defects or imperfections.
