A wooden shadow box containing a model 1908 Mercedes Grand Prix racecar figure, as well as newspaper articles, race flags, spark plug and other items pertaining to that particular race car. The items inside seem to be old but the wooden case would suggest a 50's time period of construction. This box measures approx. 20-1/2 " long x 11" height. There are some dings in the edges of the box but the glass and interior are in perfect shape.
