This emerald, diamond and white gold pendant necklace is in like-new condition and features strong green color, loads of sparkle and intricate dimensional construction in a timeless design that will never become outdated. Clustered around the central marquis-cut, faceted emerald are 16 diamonds on two levels. All stones are prong-set. The pendant measures about 1/4" wide and 1/2" tall (plus bail), has an 18" chain and is in a presentation case that's probably original. I don't know whether the emerald is natural or a chemically identical Chatham, but pricing suggests the latter. (The prior owner remembers paying $495 for it when purchased new around 1980.)

Looking for a vintage chain worthy of your fine lavalieres and pendants? This one is in super condition, with gorgeous fancy links to complement your Deco drops - and even Edwardian and Late Victorian pieces. It also looks elegant on its own.
Marked 14k, the chain has a maker's stamp, too, and is true gold in color, not rosy. Its filigree sections are about 1/8" at their widest, so will fit through most bales. Length is 15" and provenance is an East Coast estate.
