Beautifully detailed and signed TAYLOR LTD on a tiny metal tag by the clasp, this dramatic vintage chain necklace features pretty swirled links between long bamboo-shaped segments (each measuring 2 inches). Total length is actually 54 inches. That's four and a half feet! You could even wear it as a belt.
From a Texas estate, it's in such fabulous condition that I can't reasonably date it to the 1920s or 1930s. Most likely it's from the Art Deco Revival period of the 1960s. The Asian influence was hugely in fashion then, as in the original Deco era and again today.

If you're wearing a Retro gown to your next gala, this vintage hair jewel is exactly what you need to complete a Perfect Princess look. And of course it would be stunning on a bride. Dating from the 1950s, the tiara is exquisitely made and in lovely condition. A couple of teeth are missing from one comb, but their lack would never be seen when worn. (If absolutely perfect, you could add at least $50 to the price.)

These beautifully formed and highly dimensional Art Deco clips are among the most versatile accessories you could own (or give). Besides looking fabulous on pockets, lapels and at the neckline of a dress, you can also clip them over ribbons to wear as pendants and use them to jazz up hatbands, belts and sashes, purses, scarves -- even shoes.
Measuring 2 inches long, they're in great working condition. Provenance is an East Coast estate and they date, obviously, from the 1920s.

This very exotic ring from Sicily features a highly prismic stone of faceted ebony glass -- most likely obsidian, a natural volcanic glass. The mounting, an ornate filigree of silvery metal, will fit anyone, since the back of the shank has been cut or was formed that way. Of course it can be easily sized to your finger.
Probable dating would be 1950s, when dramatically large costume rings became popular. It has the look of a "poison ring" but doesn't open.

These spectacular ear clips of japanned (blackened) metal are set with 8 brilliantly faceted blue plastic stones - plus, for good measure, 4 tiny yellow rhinestones that may be plastic, too. Based on the 1970s dating, the material is probably lucite.
Condition of both the stones and the metal is remarkable; they can't have been worn much. You'll find these are marvelously lightweight and much more comfortable than most clip-ons. Their provenance is a Dallas area estate.
We never charge for U.S. shipping, so the low price you see is all you pay, unless you need international or rush delivery. Giftwrap is also free, whenever desired. Please e-mail to confirm availability, order or request more photos. Thanks for looking!

These pretty floral cluster earrings are loaded with stones: Each features 3 amethysts or amethyst crystals and 12 faux pearls. Amethysts were common in the 1950s, thanks to new gem discoveries in Souh America, so they might be the real thing. That the earrings are well-made and of a dainty size (about 3/4" by 3/8") also suggests the possibility of genuine stones, but we've priced them as if all stones are merely good quality glass. You may want to replace one pearl; it's seems to have been replaced before and is a bit too large. Otherwise, condition is lovely. Provenance is a Texas estate.

Looking for some really dramatic Retro earrings? Here they are! This is exactly what the bold ear jewels of the late 1940s and early 1950s were all about. These beauties feature hefty chunks of polished green jade (which appear to be real) and faux-pearls, set in a stylized floral design that looks like a lotus to me. Each "blossom" measures about 7/8" round, is highly dimensional - fully an inch deep - and has background petals textured for even more interest.
Though about 60 years old, these vintage dazzlers from a Texas estate are practically like new and unusually comfortable to wear. Backs are clip-on, as is right for the period, and the metal appears to be gilded brass. They're so beautifully made I'm surprised not to see a signature.
Please e-mail to confirm availability, order or request more photos. Thanks for looking! (Please note: Display case shown *isn't* included; the earrings are so big it can't close over them.)

Make your favorite blouse bloom with these Art Deco studs and button covers shaped like calla liles. Creamy faux-pearls nestle in the stylized gilt settings about 1" long by 1/2" wide. Our low price reflects age-appropriate surface wear, which is naturally more extensive on this type of jewelry than on items requiring less handling. The set comes from a Texas estate and dates from around 1930.

Prettily enameled in blue with pink stripes, this Art Deco bow brooch is wonderfully feminine. About two inches wide and equally tall, it seems even bigger, being highly dimensional. Its reverse is still extremely shiny, with the bright silver finish that indicates rhodium or chromium. Among the stones, all original, a few have somewhat darkened with age, which really doesn't detract against so much color. Amall areas of enamel loss are mainly on lower edges of the bow's top loops, so wouldn't normally be seen when worn. (We've angled the main photo upward, to be sure to show them.) There's plenty of life left in this beauty, but our price naturally reflects its flaws; pricing would be a hundred dollars higher, if it were perfect.
The brooch dates from the 1920s or very early 1930s, so is already antique by American 75-year standards, and its provenance is a Dallas area estate.
