$30 SALE. Was $45.

Keep Ginny's shoes tidy with this vivid tartan vinyl shoe bag - in mint condition even after almost 60 years! From an extensive 1-owner doll collection, it's shown as item #842 in the 1954 "Now I Walk" catalogue. You can read "Ginny's Shoe Bag" at the top (though my photo doesn't show it *G*). Hanging holes have never been perforated. Vintage Vogue closet accessories don't come any nicer than this.

Like other Ginny items, this will also fit Alexanderkins (Madame Alexander's smallest dolls). Their clothes and shoes are the same size.

There's no charge for U.S. shipping (with an equivalent discount on international delivery) and gift-wrap is always free when desired. Please e-mail to confirm availability, order or request more photos. Thanks for looking!

If you collect these wonderful small dolls from long ago, you know that finding authentic footwear for them is a huge challenge. That makes this group from one estate a great find.

Included are ice skates and roller skates from the Ginny line by Vogue Dolls, pink ballet slippers from Madame Alexander and red cowgirl boots that I can't identify for sure.

The skates are in quite good condition, considering that they're about 60 years old. The white ice skates could use cleaning and you may want to remove the bits of rust from the roller skate wheels. The slippers and boots will require a little more effort: The slippers need to have their ribbons reattached and the boots have frayed edges that need a trim. Sharp manicure scissors should take care of that neatly. With the footwear comes a carrier box that held one pair of the skates, when new; it's rather battered, but nice to have.

Just in time for the holidays, here's a seriously cute pair of vintage angels in heavenly condition. Of glossy white china with blue sashes and collars, these winged cherubs stand about 3 3/4" high and have bases incised with the name AVA. One has a short mop of curls, so I believe he's a little boy. The girl has a ponytail topped with an azure bow. When you face them toward one another, they lean forward with a little pucker.

These reached us from a New Mexico estate and, according to a family member, they date from the 1960s or 1970s. The light was poor, when I photographed them, so please e-mail if you'd like for me to try again. They're really a very pure white.

On hold.

This splendid vintage doll from Madame Alexander's enchanting 1960s "Storybook Collection" stands 14 inches tall and is in virtually untouched condition. Always a display piece, never played with, she still wears her tag (slightly curled with age) and has resided for a long while within her original box, which still contains tissue and the neck support and shows little wear except at the corners. Provenance is an East Coast collection.

This endearing little angel carries a lantern and a trumpet and is in pristine condition, never having been damaged or repaired. The item was given to me when new and, in the last 16 years, has been displayed just a few times at Christmas. With no signs of age except small wear marks on the unpolished edges of the base, the angel stands about 3 3/4" tall and measures about 1 7/8" at her widest. A sticker near the bottom of her robe reads Hosanna Hosianna and the name M. D.(or maybe O) Hummel is incised near that, running vertically under the glaze. Her base marks are Goebel West Germany in blue (preceded by the copyright symbol) Rt 89 in black script, and incised in the white china L (?) 480 and 1987.

I knew little about Hummel Goebel figures, so did some research and determined this is from the so-called "missing bee" period. A brand NEW figure looking just like this but called simply "Hosanna" is offered online at $135. Based on that, our price is highly favorable for a vintage version. There can't have been a lot of these made between their introduction in 1987 and the reunification of Germany, so it should continue to gain value as a rarity.
