Just in time for the holidays, here's a seriously cute pair of vintage angels in heavenly condition. Of glossy white china with blue sashes and collars, these winged cherubs stand about 3 3/4" high and have bases incised with the name AVA. One has a short mop of curls, so I believe he's a little boy. The girl has a ponytail topped with an azure bow. When you face them toward one another, they lean forward with a little pucker. These reached us from a New Mexico estate and, according to a family member, they date from the 1960s or 1970s. The light was poor, when I photographed them, so please e-mail if you'd like for me to try again. They're really a very pure white.
