These two embroidered pictures from England *scream* Art Deco with their soda fountain theme, stylized forms and sophisticated, vibrant colors. Each is tape-mounted beneath glass to its mat, backing board and felt
The one measuring about 6" x 6" still has its original tape that looks like marbled paper, but the larger 8" x 6" picture has modern black tape, so you'll probably want to retape both with a matching color. There's no hanging hardware now, BTW, so they were shown in the past on easel stands or propped on a shelf. Almost surely embroidered by the same person - since it was acquired with these and framed identically - we also have a charming Victorian Revival scene.
