A papier-maché dish, footed and with scalloped rim, c 1880, probably French. Partly transfer-printed lacquered decoration in gilt and colours of birds, panels and flower sprigs, all on a black background. Diameter: 11"/28,5 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: normal wear, as seen on photos, and pierced holes to the foot rim (for hanging on the wall).
