Decoration of Art Déco scroll work in “flow” copper red under beautifully crackled glaze. Probably by Hans Hjorth. The Hjorth Terracotta Factory, now part of the Bornholm museum, is still working in the same premises where it was founded in the 19th century, still using the same equipment. Chamotted stoneware bowl by Annikki Hovisaari (1918-1974) for Arabia, Finland. Of rough structure, the white clay with numerous dark specks and covered by a thin, matted glaze. Incised signature AH and Arabia. Height: 2 ¾" / 7 cm, diam: "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Condition: fine.
Beautiful stoneware dish or bowl by Sven Hofverberg, the glaze black with small grey and larger red spots, 1970's. The works of Hofverberg (1923-1998) always demonstrate his aim for perfection and concern for the glazes. Mark: impressed SH, 10 (model number?) and a painted code in black. Diam: 9 ¾"/ 24,5 cm. Condition: some small scratch marks to the well.
Small vase or footed bowl by John Andersson of Höganäs, c 1960. Olive-green glaze and thin, spiraling borders in brown. Marks: incised JA and AJHöganäs (AJ= Andersson and Johansson) Diam: 5 ¼"/ 13,5 cm and height: 2"/ 5,2 cm. Condition: a black glaze stain to the underside (cf. photo), otherwise fine.
A pair of whimsical eggcups by Dybdahl, Denmark. Shaped like two birds with beaks and tails jutting out from their stout little bodies. Painted marks: Dybdahl, Danmark/Denmark. Width: 2 ¾ "/ 7 cm. Condition: small nicks around the foot-rim to one of the cups, and the other has a small glaze flake to the tip of the beak.
Stoneware jar and lid by L. Hjorth, Denmark, 1960's. Jade-green glaze over an impressed, almost textile-like pattern. Impressed mark: L.Hjorth and incised signature U (O?) G. Height including lid: "3/ 7,5 cm, width: 3 ¼ "/ 8 cm. Condition: a few dark spots, as seen on photo, otherwise fine.

A lidded box by Poole Pottery, England, decorated in traditional Poole style - flowers on a matted white, marble-like glaze. Ca 1960, the backstamp indicating that this box was ordered to be used as a promotional gift. Width "4 ½ / 11 cm and height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.
