A Bursley ware tazza by Charlotte Rhead in the Carnations pattern, enhanced with gold against a mottled crackle glaze ground. Probably 1940’s, with factory mark and pattern code T.L.40. Diameter (handles not included) "7 ½/ 19,5 cm, height "2 ½/ 6,5 cm. Condition: fine.

Serving tray with four compartments for vegetables or pickles, by Poole Pottery, England. Déco design with wave shaped handles. matted white glaze and hand painted decoration of stylized flowers and birds. Stamped mark for c 1970 and painter’s signature. Measures: "13/ 33 cm and "8¼/ 21 cm. Condition: fine.

A Moorcroft footed bowl, olive green with a single Hibiscus flower. C 1950, the Hibiscus pattern having been introduced by Walter Moorcroft in 1949. Impressed Moorcroft mark and Made in England. Diameter "5¾/ 14,8 cm, height "2¼/ 5,5 cm. Condition: some crazing, otherwise fine.

An English Bursley Ware bowl by Charlotte Rhead, 1940s, of square shape. Slip-glaze decoration in the Carnations or T. L. 40 pattern in blue and gilt on off-white, marbled ground. Factory mark and TL 40 = pattern number and the mark of the painter who applied the raised decoration, Mary Powell. Height "2¼/ 6 cm, width (diagonally) "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine. Please note that all the little dots and accents that unfortunately look brown on the photos are really in gilt.

An early Troika vase or marmalade pot, ca 1970. Of square shape, relief decorated, the matted glaze in purple, black and orange, the inside white glazed. Troika was a group of three art potters, based in St Ives. Troika pieces were sold through Liberty of London. This little vase or pot is signed by Marilyn Pascoe who worked with Troika from c 1964 to 1970. With her signature and Troika, St Ives, England in black. Width "3/ 7,5 cm, height "3½/ 8,5 cm...
