Hand hammered pewter box and lid by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). The side of the box concave, the lid with centre decoration of a stylized flower and a white Bakelite (?) knob. Chiseled decoration on the lid, maybe by Andersen's wife, Alba, with whom he had started the Just workshop in 1918 and who was a chiseller. Early Just mark, c 1920. Diam: "3 ¾/ 10 cm, height: "2 ¾/ 7 cm. Condition: some stains and a small nick to the rim.

Patinated bronze vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Simple and beautiful Déco design, the shape reminding of the petals of an opening flower. Small engraving to one side of the foot-rim. Marks: GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), "brons" and model number 212. Height: "5 ½ / 14 cm. Condition: some wear (scratch marks) as seen on pictures.

A Gerotin pewter letter opener or paper knife c 1930, with relief decoration of a dolphin, the whole design a happy marriage between Renaissance and Art Déco. Gero, the producer of Gerotin, was a Dutch manufacturer of metal-ware, in 1922 sold to Denmark. Gero's Georg Nilsson, the designer of this book knife, was strongly influenced by his former teacher, Georg Jensen. Length: "9 ¾/ 24,5 cm. Condition: some scratch marks as seen on photo.
