Electro-plated double salt, one department one department of which was used for salt, the other for pepper, c 1850. Shaped like a small handled basket, on Rococo scroll feet. Unmarked. Width: "3 ¼ / 8 cm. Condition: a little warped, from age and wear, but still charming.
A pair of silver nickel candle holders or candle sticks with black Bakelite handles, in the style of Christopher Dresser, c 1890, with square bases and ball feet. Height: "4/ 10 cm. Condition: fine.
Small German pewter vase by Kayserzinn, c 1900. Relief decoration of marguerites in Jugendstil/Art Nouveau. Impressed marks: 50, Kayserzinn, 4081 and an incised P. Height: "3 ¼ / 8,5 cm. Condition: a few nicks to the lower part of the vase as seen on photos.
An Austrian bronze bottle stopper by Walter Bosse and Herta Baller, Vienna, c 1950. Modeled as a happy and sleepy drunkard, bottle in hand, leaning onto a sagging lamp post. Cork stopper still in place, stamped inscription: Henkes Delfshaven Holland. Henkes was a Dutch gin/genever producer. Height including cork: "3 ¾ / 9,5 cm. Condition: fine.
A black and silver metal mesh evening bag, 1930's, probably French. Zig-Zag pattern, lock with chain and a transparent glass bead, White, ring-shaped plastic handle. Length:"8 ¾/ 22 cm. Condition: fine.
A bronze mortar and pestle, for mustard and/or spice, by Baller, Austria, 1950's. The mortar of typically modernist oval shape, the pestle irregularly four-sided and curved. Width: "3 ½ / 9 cm. Condition: fine.
A small vase from the Zuid-Holland factory. The rounded shape is modified by triangular accents around rim and body. Glossy glaze and Oriental designs in brown, blue and puce over a soft beige shade. Gatehouse mark for Zuid-Holland, Maas (pattern name), 202 (model) and twig mark for 1920. Height: "2 ¾ / 7 cm. Condition: fine.
