Small early Gouda handled jug in the "Fredy" pattern. Oriental leaves around the bottom and above that a chrysanthemum pattern in a Japanese or rather geometrical manner, all in reddish-brown and dark blue, with blue dots. Height:" 5 ½ /13,5 cm. Simple "fork" mark for 1918. Condition: fine.

Early Gouda vase in the "Fredy" pattern, of Ming-like shape and with oriental-type leaves around the bottom. Above that a chrysanthemum pattern in a Japanese or rather geometrical manner, all in reddish-brown and dark blue, with little luminous blue dots. Height: "7 ½ /19 cm. Simple fork mark for 1918 and painter's mark for Adriana Margaretha Lugthart. Condition: crack to body and chip to foot rim as shown on photos.

A dinner plate by W Smith & Co, transfer printed in black with a “Gothic” cottage pattern. Marked “wedgewood” and “Stafford Pottery”. Having pirate-marked his products “wedgwood”, William Smith - who in addition was based in Yorkshire, not in Staffordshire -after processing with Wedgwood was forced to change the mark and so added an extra “e”.
