Chinese Antique Cloissone Dragon Bowl from the early 1900's. Depicts a five clawed dragon in vivid colors on a black background. It is 6.5" wide and 2.25" high. The bottom is marked "China". Between the late 19th century until 1920 all Chinese items that were to be imported into the US were required to be marked with the word "CHINA" as the country of origin. From 1919 on the word "CHINA" was replaced with "Made in China"
