Five Mousterian Unifacial Flake Tools from France. Acquired from the Collection of J.L.Gasnier by Peter Timoch of Akron Ohio. The largest piece in the middle of the photo(third from the left) is from Touvent, and is crafted from a light gray and whitish flint. Robust Mousterian Handaxe from Hardivillers, Oise, France. Acquired from the Collection of J.L.Gasnier by Peter Timoch of Akron Ohio, member of the Archaeological Society of Ohio. Excellent condition. Six and three quarters of an inch in length by two and one half inches in width. Heavy patina. Additional Hardivillers provenance on the handaxe states, Le Bois sous Les Brosses. Light gray flint, with white and orangish colored inclusions. Neanderthal/ Mousterian Tool Complex.
