Chinese Antique Cloissone Dragon Bowl from the early 1900's. Depicts a five clawed dragon in vivid colors on a black background. It is 6.5" wide and 2.25" high. The bottom is marked "China". Between the late 19th century until 1920 all Chinese items that were to be imported into the US were required to be marked with the word "CHINA" as the country of origin. From 1919 on the word "CHINA" was replaced with "Made in China"

A Ming Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Bowl with a blue mark on the base surrounded by a blue double ring. Four 'wheel of fire' decorations circle the exterior of the bowl. A bold chinese character in blue is centered in the interior, circled by a blue double ring. Excellent condition, with no chips of any kind. Seven inches in diameter by three inches in height. Acquired from a well known Silverton Oregon collection.
