Twelve Porcelain Japanese Hand-painted tea cups. Each cup represents a different month of the year with a unique flower for each month. The cups come in a cupboard and each beautifully hand-painted cup has a booklet describing the flower of that month and it's traditional meaning in the Japanese culture. Cameroon Grassland Beaded Throne with Four Cats. Acquired from a prominent African art collector in Ohio. Estimated date by the previous owner is 1910-1930. The throne is covered completely in beautiful beadwork, utilizing a palette of yellow, ocher, blue, and deep red glass beads. There are four Cats supporting the seat of the throne.
