| A delicate gold necklace of beads encrusted with golden strands that interweave and completely cover each bead. Without the help of a loup, the beads appear granulated as were their c.1870 etruscan revival cousins. The necklace, strung on strong gold chain, is a glow of warm gold color and texture. We have seen necklaces such as this one in paintings from the early 1800's from New England. It is just a touch of a jeweled decoration to dress up or down and always right. American. c. 1900. Each golden orb measures 5.9mm. The strand is 14 3/4 in long. Condition is pristine | |||||||
