This is a large and very heavy early Fukagawa Vase. The vase has a beautiful combination of under glaze painting, over glaze enamels and gold work. The vase stands 14 ½ tall and is 10 inches wide. Condition is excellent on this fabulous decorator piece.
This is a wonderful large Japanese Satsuma vase with bright colors and lots of gold work. The look and style is similar to the finer pieces done by Ryozan and Kinkozan. The vase is 10 ¼ inches tall. We do not know the artist signature. Condition is excellent.
This is one of the finest moriage koi vases ever made. We know of only know of one other moriage fish vase that could be considered this good or better. It sold for a six figure amount. This vase was done by Gonda and may very well be his best work. Gold wires were used in the Moriage koi. The subtle wireless work is fabulous. This is a beautiful trumpet form Japanese Fukagawa Vase. The vase is a very fine example of early Fukagawa. It stands 12 inches tall. The vase looks perfect but there is a rim chip repair that would escape most people and antique auction houses.
This is a beautiful large Japanese Golden Age Cloisonne vase. The colors and tones are very eye-catching. The detail of the birds is exquisite. The vase is 12 tall and 6 1/2 wide. It displays perfectly but has a restoration under the top rim.
This is a great wireless Japanese Cloisonne Vase with a beautiful form. It is one of the better examples you will ever see. Most likely done by Kumeno. It stands 13 1/2" tall and is in excellent condition.
This is a very attractive small vase from Fukagawa. From the signature it was probably made in the 1920’s. There are some very fine details on this 5 by 5 inch vase. The vase looks fine but there is a short line on the rim seen in the 4th image and a strange pit or bubble that can be seen in the last image.
This is a rare Japanese Cloisonne vase done in moriage enamel. from Ando. The attractive raised cherry blossom design wraps completely around the vase. The vase is very heavy and stands 9 ½ inches tall. Rims are silver and counter enamel a dark chocolate brown. Condition is excellent with only a 1/4" light spot in the enamel that is shown in the first and sixth images.
This is a fine Japanese Golden Age Cloisonne vase. It features a white dove perched in a maple tree. The enameling and work are of superior quality and the vase is signed. The artist mark is unknown but it looks like a combination of Hayashi, Ito, and Ota marks. Condition is excellent and the vase stands 6 inches tall.
This is a finely painted Sake Pourer from Fukagawa. The porcelain has the look of Hirado ware and even has a firing line at the base commonly seen on Hirado pieces. Hirado was taken over by Fukagawa at the end of the 19th century. Condition is very good and it stands 6 3/4 inches tall.
