This is a very fine Early Japanese Cloisonne Koro with a rare form. It is signed with the double flag mark on the underside of the lid. The work is similar to the signed Kumeno Teitaro flower pieces. The lining and rims appear to be bronze. The underside is decorated with Basse taille flowers. There is also a decorative gilded bronze cap in the knob of the koro. There are three short and hard to see lines that show up under magnification. It is 4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches wide.

This is a rare large circular Japanese Satsuma tray. From the great Kinkozan factory, it measures 13 3/4" across. Cobalt ground decorated in rich thick gold. There is an array of fan shaped panels. These contain beautiful ladies, Samurai, and children. Ornate gold decorated handles on each side with scrolling vines and geometric patterns that run in and about the panels. This is a great and rare Japanese Cloisonne Tea set. The enamel work and gradation of colors are fabulous. The enamel is nearly pit free. Though not signed we believe the artist was Goto. Look closely at the images to see the wonderful work and design. The set is in excellent condition with only a slight bump to the bottom edge of one of the cups and wear to the silver. This boxed set is extremely rare and most likely a one of a kind antique.

This is a stunning set complete with large Teapot, creamer and sugar along with 5 cups and saucers. Extra Fine detail and Lots of heavy gold work on each piece. In fact it is the best Satsuma teaset we have come across and the finest example of Ganzan's work we know of. The set is in outstanding condition except with a nicely restored chip on the teapot spout. All the pieces are rather large. The teapot measures 8"tall, 9" across at the handle.
