This is a very old Japanese Imari Plate. The design is outstanding and the rim style is very rare. This is a piece for the collector that appreciates the finer imari pieces made at the Japanese kilns. The plate measures 9 3/4 inches across and is quite heavy. There is a signature or writing in underglaze blue that we can not make out. Condition is excellent with come minor wear.

This is a beautiful large Japanese Porcelain painted by Bizan. He was one of the Satsuma masters and his works were very much like those of Yabu Meizan. The vase is painted with a continuous scene of people, Lake Biwa and the surrounding countryside. Aside from being beautifully painted, the vase has excellent enamel and gold work. A very rare offering from this great artist. The 12 inch vase is very heavy and a wide profile. Condition is excellent.

This is a beautiful and highly detailed fluted plate from the Fukagawa factory in Japan. We have seen similar designs but never one like this from this factory. It is an antique and was made during the Meiji Era. The condition is outstanding and the plate measures 8 1/2 inches across.

This is a very fine Japanese Porcelain Jar from the early Fukagawa factory. It is one of the famous designs made by Chuji Fukagawa. There is a small surface flake to the inner rim of the lid but overall it is in excellent shape. This is shown in the image. The jar is good size being 6 1/2 inches across at the handles and 5 1/2 tall.

This is a beautiful Japanese Porcelain Charger or shallow bowl. It just glows. The work is very similar to the work we have seen done by the Fukagawa or Koransha factory but it is not signed. Condition is excellent. There is a minor factory smear of gold on the front center. It can bee seen in the images. This might why the piece is not signed. It can bee seen in the images. The charger is 12 5/8 inches across and has deep sides making it 2 1/4 inches tall.

This is a beautiful Japanese Porcelain Footed Bowl from Makuzu Kozan. The bowl is not very large at 5 5/8 inches across. It is beautifully painted and signed on the bottom. It does have a hit but it is hard see and find in the busy pattern. The last two blown up images show this.

This is a special old Japanese Imari bowl. The crane design and use of enamels is very attractive. The piece looks similar to some of the early Fukagawa pieces. Condition is very good and there is mainly wear to the gold trim on the top rim. This heavy bowl measures 7 inches across and stands 3 1/4 tall.

This is a fine old Japanese Porcelain vase from a rare Artist. The vase is very heavy and it stands 12 inches tall. The vase is decorated in underglaze blues and reds much like some of the Makuzu Kozan Pieces. There is an unknown impressed signature on the bottom. Maybe someone in Japan will recognize the signature of this fine studio artist. The vase was once a lamp and the hole has been nicely restored.

This is a beautiful trumpet form Japanese Fukagawa Vase. The vase is a very fine example of early Fukagawa. It stands 12 inches tall. The vase looks perfect but there is a rim chip repair that would escape most people and antique auction houses.
