This is a very attractive small vase from Fukagawa. From the signature it was probably made in the 1920’s. There are some very fine details on this 5 by 5 inch vase. The vase looks fine but there is a short line on the rim seen in the 4th image and a strange pit or bubble that can be seen in the last image.

This is a large Japanese Metal plaque. It appears to be made of spelter with a gold wash patina. It is the only metal piece like this we have seen so we know it is rare. The piece was made from a very good mold. The flowers, dragons and scene are quite detailed. We are not sure of the age but it is old. It could be from the 40’s or as early as the Meiji period. It measures 13 ¼ by 9 ¾ inches. There is wear to the finish.
