This is a very fine Vintage Japanese Cloisonne vase. The colors and shading are of a higher skill level than most vintage cloisonne pieces. The snow scene looks similar to some of the Kawade or Sosuke we have come across. The vase is 7 1/4 inches tall. It is signed Nekka and condition is excellent.
This is a very attractive older Japanese Kutani vase in mint condition. The painting on the piece reminds us of the satsuma artist Taizan. It is quite old and is approximately 75 years old. This came from a Japanese woman who told us it was signed by the artist Eigetsu. This is a rare mark and could be made by the same Eigetsu known for making fine woodblock prints in the early 1900's It measure 9 1/4 inches tall.
This is a superb Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Vase. It stands 9" tall and is 6 ½" wide. It has a very unusual shape on this piece and is heavy. The has a stylized designer look with large scrolling artistic vines and leaves decorated over a deep Navy blue/green ground. The enamel has soft varying shades of blue that graduate from dark blue, almost purple at the tip of the leaves to a lighter deep Sapphire. The vase is old but probably not quite an antique. This is a beautiful Japanese Cloisonne vase from Ando. It is a design and style was developed by this factory. The vase stands 10 inches tall and is about 7 inches wide. The ground color is a bit unusual having a deep olive tone. It is stamped with the Ando mark on the rim. Condition is excellent and the the vase is very heavy.
This is a small Japanese Plique-a-Jour bowl. Though beautiful it has some cracks. These can be seen in the images and actually do not show up nearly as well when on display. It is still an eye catching piece. It measures 3 3/4 inches across.
This is a very unique Japanese Cloisonne Box from the Ando factory. It is larger than most of the cloisonne boxes you will ever see. This heavy box measures 3 3/8" tall, 7 1/4" long by 4 3/4" wide. It has a high gloss soft mauve ground and high gloss unique green counter enamel with little black specks of mottling. Unique, also is the lid. This is an attractive cloisonne vase from Ando. The enamel work and shading are finely done. The form and colors are rare. The vase stands 6 inches tall. There is a bit of hard to see crazing. This can be seen in the images and actually shows up more in the image than in person. It was made with silver rims and was probably made in the 1930's. This is a very nice display piece.
This is an attractive vintage Japanese Cloisonne vase. It is much like another piece we currently have listed but of higher quality. It may be from Ando. The wireless enamel work on the mountain and clouds is very good. Except in the foreground, the enamel colors are soft pastel tones of gray/blue. It just under 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. There is a minor dent to bottom rim that can not be seen when on display. otherwise the condition is outstanding.

This is a very attractive Japanese cloisonne vase from the Showa era. The form is rather large and unique. It is decorated with a very colorful Phoenix bird the extends half way around the vase. Behind the Phoenix in red ground is a hammered design with clouds. The vase stands 7 inches tall and is 8 inches wide. The top and bottom rims are solid silver. The condition is outstanding.
