This is a very attractive small vase from Fukagawa. From the signature it was probably made in the 1920’s. There are some very fine details on this 5 by 5 inch vase. The vase looks fine but there is a short line on the rim seen in the 4th image and a strange pit or bubble that can be seen in the last image.

This is a beautifully painted and enameled Japanese Porcelain Vase. It may have been a presentation piece because of the elaborate signature. The vase illustrates the Japanese legend of Urashima the turtle rider. Condition is excellent and the vase stands 17 ½ inches tall.

This is a wonderful hard stone carving with a Rooster and chicks. This piece, made from either Jadeite or agate, comes with its own custom stand, and silk lined box with glass front showcase. It is done in a pale green with russet and black patches throughout. A beautifully carved large Rooster stands on rock formation and carved shrub. Amongst this are two tiny chicks. This is a Rare Japanese plique a Jour pedestal bowl. It is the only one we have ever seen. It is silver or silver plated and has no damage. It is large for a plique a Jour piece standing 7 ¼ inches tall and is 6 ¼ inches wide.

This is a beautiful Japanese Lacquer Writing Box in mint condition.We are not sure who the artist is. We do not think it was ever displayed and was always stored in its original wood box. The work is very rich with gold and precise. The Gold sparkles and changes depending on the angle of light. It also looks like Abalone Shell is inlaid into two of the flowers. This is a rare Japanese Cloisonne vase with Huddling Herons. Both the form and subject matter are unusual. The vase has 11 wire and wireless cloisonne Herons that surround the vase. It stands 6" tall and is 4 3/4 " wide. We believe it was made during the 1930's. The rims are silver and the condition is outstanding. The original box in the image comes with the vase.

This is an attractive and rare Japanese Cloisonne vase. We have only seen one other like it and it was sold by us a year ago. The maker is unknown but we think it may be a late Hayashi Tanigoro piece. The overall quality is good and the enamel work is excellent. It stands 8" tall and is 6 1/4" wide. Inside the vase there is the remains of a very old newspaper stuck to the bottom and side. Condition is outstanding.
