This is a very nice Japanese Cloisonne Plique -a- Jour Vase. It has the original wood stand and is in excellent or mint condition. The vase without the stand measures 3 3/4 inches tall.

This is a beautiful Japanese Plique a Jour vase. It is a fairly large piece at 7 1/4 inches. The enamel work is more colorfulthan most vintage pieces of this style cloisonne. One of the things that make these pieces so desirable is the way they change in appearance indifferent light. This can be seen in the images. The condition of this vase is very good but there is a hard to see craze line. The artist was most likely Ando but the piece is not signed. This is an especially fine display piece.

This is a beautiful Japanese Plique a Jour vase. It is an uncommonly large and rare example of this style of cloisonne. Few pieces this size exist that are undamaged. One of the things that make these pieces so desirable is the way they change in appearance indifferent light. This can be seen in the images. The condition of this vase is excellent. The artist was most likely Ando but the piece is not signed. The vase measures 6 3/4 tall and 6 inches wide. This is an especially fine display piece.

This is a very unique Japanese Cloisonne Box from the Ando factory. It is larger than most of the cloisonne boxes you will ever see. This heavy box measures 3 3/8" tall, 7 1/4" long by 4 3/4" wide. It has a high gloss soft mauve ground and high gloss unique green counter enamel with little black specks of mottling. Unique, also is the lid. This is an attractive vintage Japanese Cloisonne vase. It is much like another piece we currently have listed but of higher quality. It may be from Ando. The wireless enamel work on the mountain and clouds is very good. Except in the foreground, the enamel colors are soft pastel tones of gray/blue. It just under 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide. There is a minor dent to bottom rim that can not be seen when on display. otherwise the condition is outstanding.

This is an attractive vintage Japanese Cloisonne vase. It may be from Ando. Except in the foreground, the enamel colors are soft pastel tones of blue and green. The rims appear to be bronze with minute traces of silver plate left on them. It just under 5 inches tall and is in outstanding condition.

This is a large beautiful Japanese Fukagawa Vase. It is decorated with excellent hand painting and enamel work. It is not from the Meiji period but the work is as good as most Imari from that era. It stands 14" tall and is 10" wide. We believe it to be from around 1950. It bears a seal and mark from the "Koran Sha Fukagawa" of the Company of the Scented Orchid. This is a very attractive small vase from Fukagawa. From the signature it was probably made in the 1920’s. There are some very fine details on this 5 by 5 inch vase. The vase looks fine but there is a short line on the rim seen in the 4th image and a strange pit or bubble that can be seen in the last image.
