This is a nice little Japanese Satsuma bowl from the artist Ryozan. It measures 2 7/8 inches across and stands 1 1/8 inches tall. There is some wear to the gold on the light green leaves in the center of the bowl. Otherwise condition is very good.

This is a rare and beautiful pair of Japanese cloisonne jars by Honda. Honda’s work is often confused with Namikawa Yasuyuki because of the similar their styles and high quality. These jars are in outstanding condition. They are not signed. The mounts are bronze and these are heavy solid pieces. They stand 5 1/4 inches tall.

This is a beautiful Japanese Imperial Satsuma Koro. The workmanship is exquisite on this rare piece. The intricate silver lid is adorned with the 14 petal Imperial mon and the body is decorated with several Kiri mon. The workmanship is as good as any made by Yabu Meizan. In fact Yabu Meizan could be the artist since he was one of the Imperial family artists. The piece is not signed. Condition is excellent. The koro stands 5 inches tall and is 4 1/2 inches wide.

This is an early Japanese Cloisonne Enamel by Namikawa Yasuyuki. It has the beautiful high sheen enameling and the barrel form only known to this imperial artist. The vase stands 5 inches tall. There is some damage to the base rim and some damage to the enamel. The enamel has a fill and can be seen in the images. The price reflects these flaws. It is still a great study and display piece from this great artist.

This is a very nice Meiji Satsuma piece from a rare artist named Fuzan. There are three known Japanese Satsuma artists named Fuzan that all signed differently. This Fuzan is the more rare of the three. The set is covered in hundreds of tiny butterflies with gilded highlights. Condition is mint. The Bowl is 5 1/2 inches across at the handles and 2 1/4 inches high. The under plate is 5 7/8 inches across.

This is a beautiful large Japanese Satsuma bowl from one of the great artists, Yozan. The work and details are outstanding. The images show everything about this bowl quite well except for the raised enamel in the waves on the underside. The bowl is in excellent condition with just minor wear to the gold. The bowl measures 6 1/4 inches across and stands 2 1/4 inches high.

This is a beautiful complex art deco example from Steuben. The handle is an opaque frosted glass and the inside is lined a separate blue jade colored glass. On the exterior is a beautiful golden iridescent .pattern. The piece is not signed and that may be because there is a slight mistake in one of the diamonds on the outside pattern. See images. There are no damages. The piece stands 6 inches tall. It came from a very old estate that included signed Tiffany pieces.

This is a very nice Japanese cloisonne plique-a-jour bowl. Unlike most other Japanese Plique-a-jour pieces this bowl has two large butterflies of different colors. The bowl displays perfectly but one of the feet has been glued on. It is hard to notice. See the last image. No other damage. The bowl measures 3 3/4 inches across and the hardwood stand shown in the images is included.

This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma vase from Kizan. It is a fairly large piece from this artist. The gold and enamel work are exquisite. The vase stands 5 ¾ tall and is 5 ¼ inches wide. Condition is near perfect. The only wear I could find was on the signature.

This is a very beautiful and very rare example of Japanese Cloisonne Plique-A-Jour. It is not signed but it is widely known that Ando is the one did this style of work. Plique-a-jour does not get much better than this piece. The contrast and colors used on this piece are fabalous. The bowl is 7 3/4" across and 3 1/2" high. Under the top rim there are several short vertical lines in the bowl that are not easily seen.
