This is a very detailed, and beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Vase. Unsigned, but most definitely by Miwa. We recently sold a similar vase with the exact form and size that was signed Miwa. This very fine piece has an Emerald green ground, profusely decorated with embossed tiny butterflies and Chrysanthemums. This work is well done, but the rest of the piece is even more detailed. The long neck of the vase has several wide bands of scroll using very, very detailed Cloisonne work. The brilliant green ...click for details

This is a very fine Japanese Cloisonne vase by Ota Kichisaburo. The vase is done in great detail with beautiful silverwire work of various sizes and brightly colored enamels. Six butterflies or Moths decorate the body of the vase. The form and subject matter are rare. The vase looks perfect but there is a fine restoration on the foot rim that is shown in the last image. It is signed on the bottom and stands 5 inches tall. We also have the mate to this vase.

This is a very sweet piece. It is a Japanese moriage enamel vase by the master Gonda. What makes this piece so unique is the size. It is only 3 ¾ inches by 3 ¾ inches. It has the same workmanship of the bigger Gonda koi pieces, only in a much more detailed package. It is the smallest vase of this style and quality that I have ever seen. Perfect condition. The vase is not signed but the style and enamel colors match perfectly to the signed Gonda pieces.

This is a very nice Japanese Satsuma Meiji Era Kogo. Deep Cobalt and rich gold scrolling vines cover the ground. A large heart shaped reserve in the very center of the lid. It features an outdoor scene of people, water, grasses and temples. All decorated with thick gold and rich enameling. Tiny wash of gold throughout the scene. Unique and profuse decoration on the inner lid and inside the body. Here are Koro's, vases with florals, pitchers and more. A tea ceremony of some sort perha ...click for details

This is an exquisite Japanese Satsuma Plate. It almost has a bowl appearance and is very heavy. It is both signed and impressed with the Kinkozan mark "Kyoto Kinkozan Made". It measures 8 3/4" across. Beautiful band of gold geometric scroll at the rim. Inside are outstanding Iris and stems in shades of purple, yellow and white. Rich thick enamel work used on the florals and leaves. It has a wash of tight gold beading that peeks in and out of the florals as well as covering the ent ...click for details
