This is an exquisite Japanese plate. The workmanship on this plate is highly detailed and very colorful. The plate measures 8 3/4 inch and the condition is outstanding. It is signed. We are not 100 percent certain but it appears to be the signature of Seikozan. Three of the four characters in the signature are clearly consistent with Seikozan but the upper left character is a little distorted. That is why we are not quite sure.

This is a very fine Meiji Era Japanese Cloisonne Bowl. The colors, workmanship and enamels are beautiful. While unsigned we suspect it is an early example of either Ota or Hayashi The condition is excellent. It just has a few minor pits. The rims appear to be silver or a nickel alloy. The bowl measures 7 1/4 across and is 3 1/4" tall.

This is an exquisitely carved antler with a pig. The subject is extremely rare. The carving was made as an artist parasol handle. There is some script written on the piece but we do not know why. Maybe Museum numbers. It measures 5 inches long. Condition is excellent.

This is an exquisitely carved antler with rats and leaves. It was made as a parasol handle. There is some script written on the piece but we do not know why. Maybe Museum numbers. It measures 5 3/4 inches long. Condition is excellent.

As you can see from the work this is a very fine and unusual Japanese cloisonne vase. It is from the Meiji Era or what many consider the Golden Age. The vase stands 7 inches tall. It appears to be in perfect condition but there are some very hard to see lines deep in the enamel. The rims are bronze. It still displays perfectly

This is a fabulous example of Japanese artistry from the Meiji Era. It is all carved from single large piece of ivory. The detail is amazing. There are two signatures unknown to us but it appears the piece was done by two different artists. The tray measures 7 1/2 inches by 4 1/4 inches and 1/2 inch deep. Condition is excellent.

This is a wonderful Chinese export plate with a rare design. We have never seen this pattern before. It is old and could very well be an antique. Were are not sure if the decoration is famille rose or rose medallion. Either way it has beautiful raised enamel work. Condition is outstanding as you can see from the images. The plate measures 8 5/8 inches across.

This is a wonderful Japanese Iris tea set with some of the best silver workmanship we have come across. Each piece is sturdy and heavy. The set is marked sterling or stamped Jungin ('pure silver') We could find no artist mark. The work is of such high quality that the maker could be Ryounsai or Konoike.
