This is a wonderful golden age Japanese Cloisonne vase. The work, colors, and enameling are excellent. Several different sizes of silver wire were used for different effects. We believe the maker is Kumeno. There is one area of slight damage(See last image). The vase is 7 ¾” tall and very heavy

This is a great Japanese Satsuma bowl signed Meizan. He was the maker of some finest examples of Satsuma in the Meiji Era. The Bowl Measures 5 inches across and is 1 ¾ inches tall. The condition is outstanding.

This is a superb pair of Japanese Satsuma long necked vases. Signed on the base Seikozan, these are early and outstanding, using the Mercury firing that makes the gold so rich and intense. The body has a continuous scene of men and children in outdoor scene. Realistic faces, colorful and gilt robes, rock formations, trees and tiny wash gold beading throughout. This is a beautiful large Japanese Satsuma vase by Kinkozan. The vase has extensive finely detailed gold work on a rare form. The vase stands 12 inches tall and is 9 inches across at the top. Condition is excellent.

This is a fine large Japanese Totai Vase. It stands 14" tall. The vase is unusual because of the form and the bright attractive colors. Condition is very good. There is only two minor surface frits to the lacquer at the top rim and pitting.

This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma vase from Hozan, The colors are wonderful. The work and painting resemble some of the finer Kinkozan pieces only the colors are brighter. The vase is good size at 7 1/8” tall and 5” wide. Condition is outstanding.

This is a Wonderful Japanese Fukagawa Vase. The colors and over glaze enamel work are the as good as it gets. You will be hard pressed to find a better example of a Japanese porcelain vase from the meiji era. I like this piece as well as any Makuzu Kozan piece I looked at in the Khalili Exibition. The vase is 12 inches tall and very heavy. Condition......outstanding.

This is a wonderful pair of Satsuma vases. Very well done by the artist Taizan. Each are very detailed with thick gold and enamel work. Florals and butterflies, make this little pair a great decorator set. They each stand 7" tall. One has a very minor short hairline at the top rim.
