This is a French Japonism mixed metal bronze box. Attributed to Christofle. The hinged lid and sides are decorated in relief, with exotic birds, amongst flowering branches. Inside is silk lined. It stands on dragon form feet. Outstanding condition, with some slight wear to the patina.
