This is a very fine Japanese Satsuma vase from Hozan, The colors are wonderful. The work and painting resemble some of the finer Kinkozan pieces only the colors are brighter. The vase is good size at 7 1/8” tall and 5” wide. Condition is outstanding.

This is a very fine articulated Lobster made of Iron. Examples like this one made of iron are very rare and were very difficult to make. It measures about 14 1/2 inches from the tip of the tail to the antenna. The condition is excellent and it comes with the original box. We believe the artist was Myochin.

This is a very fine Early Japanese Cloisonne Koro with a rare form. It is signed with the double flag mark on the underside of the lid. The work is similar to the signed Kumeno Teitaro flower pieces. The lining and rims appear to be bronze. The underside is decorated with Basse taille flowers. There is also a decorative gilded bronze cap in the knob of the koro. There are three short and hard to see lines that show up under magnification.

This is an excellent Japanese Satsuma vase by Kinkozan. The vase features two highly detailed panels of gold, enamels and painting. The artist also used several different tones of gold over the entire vase. This contrast creates a very beautiful and bright display piece. The size is 12 inches tall and the condition outstanding.

This is a wonderful and highly detailed Japanese ivory Okimino. It features a Father and son on a raft. The boy is sitting in a crab basket holding a small crab. The detail in the wood grain, knots, Rope, Hat and basket are great. The raft is signed on the underside. It measures 8 ¼” across and 5 ¼” tall. There is a repair(glued) to the man's hat. It is hard to see. The Spear also has a bend from age.

This is an early Japanese Cloisonne Vase by Ogasawara Shuzo. It is not signed but we have a smaller version of this vase that is signed. Because of the size this would be a good display piece for a decorator or an item of interest for a cloisonné collector. The vase is just under 10 inches tall and is very heavy. There are two areas of damage one is a hit the other a crack.

This is a rare Japanese porcelain box from the Fukagawa factory. It is done in the popular pattern with cranes, clouds, and water. It measuses 5 1/4" across and 2 3/4" tall. This is a good old piece not one of the poorly done fakes from China. Condition is very good.

This is a beautiful Japanese Satsuma bowl signed Meizan. The workmanship is equal to or exceeds many pieces signed Yabu Meizan. The bowl measures 5 ½” across and is 2 ½” tall. Condition is outstanding.

This is a rare large circular Japanese Satsuma tray. From the great Kinkozan factory, it measures 13 3/4" across. Cobalt ground decorated in rich thick gold. There is an array of fan shaped panels. These contain beautiful ladies, Samurai, and children. Ornate gold decorated handles on each side with scrolling vines and geometric patterns that run in and about the panels. This is an excellent Japanese Satsuma Bowl by Matsumoto Hozan. The work is very colorful, detailed. and the subject matter is interesting. The bowl measures 5 inches across and is 2 inches tall. Condition is very good with just some minor wear to the gold.
