This is a very lovely and well done Japanese Satsuma Vase from the Meiji Era. The vase features two large panels front and back. One encases an outdoor scene with rich enameled cascading Wisteria and vines. These cascade down amongst mountains, flying birds, water scenes, Iris and colorful Daisies. This is a fabulous Japanese Satsuma vase from Yabu Meizan. The vase has a unique form we have never seen before and is most likely the only one in the world. The vase nearly every fine decorative feature known to the Yabu Meizan factory. There are six separate detailed panels. The base is decorated with a combination of flowers and butterflies The condition is near perfect and the vase stands 6 1/4 inches tall.

This is a large and very beautiful Japanese Satsuma vase by Ryozan. The painting, colors, and gold work are fabulous. It is a very labor intensive piece of art with 8 separate decorative panels. The vase is 11 ½ tall and in excellent condition. There is only minor wear to the gold. This is one of the best examples from Ryozan that you will ever see.

This is a beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Vase done in the Basse-taille style. It is the only vase like this we have ever seen. From the purple shoulder three branches of engraved wisteria flow down to three fish, water plants and iris.. The vase is very heavy and of very high quality. We think the Artist Ogasawara Shuzo. It stands 9 ½ inches tall.

This is a very nice early Japanese cloisonne vase. It is very unusual, being made up of three different designs. The work looks like that of Kumeno. The quality of the enamel is very fine and the piece is done in silver wire. Condition is very good and it stands 7 ¾ inches tall.

This is a wonderful pair of Japanese Satsuma vases. As fine as any Yabu Meizan. They have a very rare shape and a beautiful flow with the enameled Bellflowers wrapping around each vase. The gold detail is exquisite as with all Seikozan work. Condition is near perfect except for an unusal line that was covered up in each in the throat area. Magnification is needed to see this. There are no chips and the covered line did not go all the way through. They stand 5 ¾ inches tall.

This is a fine early Japanese Satsuma bowl. The inside is covered with hundreds of butterflies and the outside decorated with gilt highlighted flowers. The bowl is quite large at 7 ¼ inches across and 2 ¾ inches tall. Condition is very good. There is a slight stain on the underside and minor wear to the gold. We do not know the artist.

This is an outstanding and very lovely Japanese Cloisonne jar or Tea Jar Unique in shape it is a rounded 4-sided jar and lid. Thick silver metal circular insert all the way inside the jar as well as thick metal top rim and lid. High gloss black ground that is covered with large, medium and small very well done and colorful silver wire butterflies. This is a very rare Japanese cloisonne hanging vase. It is complete with the original silk rope. We have only seen two others. The condition is excellent and the enamel work is beautiful. Kumeno could be the artist. The vase is 6 ½ inches tall and 6 ½ inches wide.

We have three Famille Rose Chinese Cabbage Plates plates. They are from the 1900-1920's. Condition is good and the plates still retain much of the original gold. they each hae some minor enamel flaking. They measure 8 3/4" across.
