This is a very fine Japanese Cloisonne vase. It was made around 1900-1910. It is signed but the mark is unknown to us. We think the artist was Ito. The quality is good enough that it could have also been made by either Hattori or Hayashi. The vase has top quality enamel and wire work. It is better than the images show. The design is also incorporates the use different sizes of sculpted silver wire. It stands 9 3/4 inches tall. The vase is in excellent condition but does have a missing black cloi ...click for details

This is a large and beautiful Japanese Cloisonne Vase. We think the artist is Goto because of the unique color and quality of the enamel. The Vase features a school of 25 fish done in wire and wireless work. The rims are made with heavy silver much like some of the Sosuke pieces. The vase had a drill hole in the bottom that has been very nicely restored and is otherwise in excellent condition. It measures 11 ½ inches tall and 6 ¼ inches wide.

This is a beautiful rare form Japanese Cloisonne Vase. The wirework and enameling are outstanding. It is signed but the signature is unknown. The work is very high quality and it appears to be a Hayashi piece. This vase is my all time favorite cloisonne piece done with the sparrows and bamboo. The unique size, shape and workmanship qualify the piece for any collection or Museum. I have the mate to this vase if anyone is interested. Condition is excellent and the piece measures 14 5/8 inches tall ...click for details

This is a beautiful old Japanese Imari vase. The shape is very rare and raised relief work. It has sort of a diamond shape when looking down from the top. If you turn it from side to side it is wider from two sides. Condition is very good with no cracks or restorations. There is wear to the Gold. The Vase stands 16 1/2 inches tall and is 8 1/2inches at the widest.

This is a masterpiece of Japanese Cloisonne enamel from Namikawa Sosuke. The enameling on this plaque is just beautiful and is the finest example I have seen from this artist. The eyes on each pigeon have Gold wires. The frame is custom made from mahogany wood. The plaque is 14 ½ inches across by 10 ½ inches. The outside measurements of the frame are inches across and 16 ½ inches across by 12 ½. There is a 2 inch hard to see line in the blue enamel.
