| This is a very unusual porcelain bowl. We know it is quite old because of the way it was potted and from the firing flaws that can be seen in the glaze. We have gotten several expert opinions on the piece and have been told by some it is Chinese because of the four toed dragon and bat and others said it was Japanese. We believe it to be Chinese and have never seen a Japanese dragon done this way. Either way it is a very fine old piece. The bowl is very heavy and in perfect condition. It is 10 inches across and stands a little over 6 inches tall. | ||||||||
