| This is a beautiful Japanese Plique a Jour vase. It is a fairly large piece at 7 1/4 inches. The enamel work is more colorfulthan most vintage pieces of this style cloisonne. One of the things that make these pieces so desirable is the way they change in appearance indifferent light. This can be seen in the images. The condition of this vase is very good but there is a hard to see craze line. The artist was most likely Ando but the piece is not signed. This is an especially fine display piece. | ||||||||||
