| This is a wonderful little Chinese ivory carving. It is a basket atop a lotus flower with seashells. Intricately carved crabs spill over this lovely basket. It measures 3 3/4" tall. Perfect condition. If for some reason there is anything I have missed about the condition of this piece, I will stand behind my description and not consider it your problem if I screw up. If you do not know, Christies and some other Auction Houses will not. Only buy from someone you can trust otherwise you may pay way too much for a poorly described piece with many condition issues. Accurate Condition reports are really quite easy....... even a Caveman could give one. Last year Christies sold us a vase for $11,000 that was sprayed and had extensive restorations. Some of the restorations came off in shipping. They would not take a Credit Card payment and we were told in their condition report that it only "had minor wear to the gold". To date they are unwilling to give us our money back. | ||||||||
