| This is a rare large circular Japanese Satsuma tray. From the great Kinkozan factory, it measures 13 3/4" across. Cobalt ground decorated in rich thick gold. There is an array of fan shaped panels. These contain beautiful ladies, Samurai, and children. Ornate gold decorated handles on each side with scrolling vines and geometric patterns that run in and about the panels. Blue rims the sides with the impressed Kinkozan mark on the base. It is in excellent condition with only some slight wear to the gold. This is a beautiful rare display piece. | |||||||||
