| This is a very fine Early Japanese Cloisonne Koro with a rare form. It is signed with the double flag mark on the underside of the lid. The work is similar to the signed Kumeno Teitaro flower pieces. The lining and rims appear to be bronze. The underside is decorated with Basse taille flowers. There is also a decorative gilded bronze cap in the knob of the koro. There are three short and hard to see lines that show up under magnification. | |||||||
