| This is a beautiful early Namikawa Sosuke Vase. It features beautiful Cherry blossom branches against a full moon. The wire and wireless enamel work is outstanding. The enamel is done with soft subtle tones and finished off with high gloss sheen. The vase is heavy and was made before 1895. It stands 12 inches tall. There is what appears to be a factory imperfection on one of the flower petals. A bit of silver wire came out on the outer edge of the petal. It does not look like a hit. See next to last image. The vase is not signed on the bottom. His work was not signed until after 1895. The last image is of a much smaller signed sosuke vase made after 1895. | ||||||||||||||
