| This is a great Japanese Cloisonne vase. What makes this vase so special is the profusion of sculpted silver wire. The effect is beautiful. Also there is a glow from the quality of the enamel that can not be captured in the images. Mixed in with the bamboo design are 6 gold wire birds. At 12 inches tall it is a very large example from Hayashi Kodenji. The vase has a hit on the back side shown in two images. It does not detract much and it is still a great vase. | |||||||||||
