Beautiful European car dish made using the "aqua-fortis" technique which is a type of etching. In this technique, plates of copper, steel, zinc, etc. are covered with a varnish and then blackened with black-smoke. A hand tool is used to remove the varnish, exposing the raw metal. The varnish is then covered with wax. Nitric acid (aqua-fortis) is spilled onto the surface will corrode the parts devoid of varnish. Inscription reads F. BOUCHER , PASTORALE. Metal alloy and silver box with a finely detailed "aguafuerte" style etching of an
outdoor gathering located on the top of the box. There are two inscriptions located above and below the etching. The top inscription reads "D'APRES LANCRET" while the bottom inscription reads "LE COLIN-MAILLARD". Circa 1900.

A finely detailed ornate mesh purse with handle. Made of 800 silver with a floral design around the clasp. The interior contains a unique mesh coin purse.
