A great antique nutmeg grinder patented in 1891 that was made by Edgar Mfg. Co. Reading, MA.
It is signed Edgar Mfg. Co. and Pat. Aug. 18 91.
Measures 5 3/8" long and has 2 wooden knobs. Top part is spring loaded to hold the nutmeg nut. There is a nutmeg in the grinder as we acquired it and the grinder works fine.
